Egypt and AVEX

AVEX is endorsed by Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation. With a mission of making Egypt the gateway to Africa and the Middle East, the Egyptian government is playing a vital role in the development and expansion of the regional aviation sector.

The population of Egypt is the largest in the MENA region and the country remains a key player in the aviation industry while experiencing a rapid growth in the small and midsized aircraft industry. Egypt is geographically a strategic location for regional business, located in the heart of MENA. The country will be the proud destination of AVEX for the fourth time in 2010.  
AVEX is a new breed of aviation event: It focuses on business expansion and client/partner relationship development, through a unique integration of exhibition, aircraft display, business congress, networking sessions and entertainment.

AVEX is a place to conduct business, a venue for exciting opportunities and a grand pavilion packed with entertainment for all participants.

AVEX is a four day airshow with the first two days assigned as Business Days, focused purely on business networking and deal-making opportunities. The next two days are packed with public attractions and exciting surprises for the thousands that will be present at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. Attractions include the bungee crane, go-kart racing, paintball, aero modelling and more!
AVEX unites aviation executives, royal families, government representatives and top international and regional investors, to participate in an exclusive networking platform, set in a prime location.
